Independent trial results confirm efficacy improvements with AminoA Biostimulants
Independent trials have demonstrated impressive yield returns and efficacy improvements on crops treated with biological crop stimulants from AminoA.
The first quarter of 2020 has brought many challenges, from waterlogging to near drought, followed by cold dry winds and then returning rain.
“Through extremes and changeable conditions, many crops will show serious effects of stress,” explains AminoA managing director, Richard Phillips.
“During prolonged periods with no rainfall, for example, crops are unable to take up badly needed nitrogen which is still lying on the ground.
“However, applying AminoA FLO with dissolved Urea (6-8 kg/ha) will give the crop a nutrition boost and help it recover until rainfall arrives.”
The effectiveness of AminoA biological crop stimulants on yields and efficacy has been demonstrated through independent trials, conducted over the contrasting conditions of 2018 and 2019.
NIAB trials in 2019 saw 0.73 T/ha grain yield increases of winter wheat, returning 10.18 T/ha over the control 9.45 T/ha. Two applications were made at T0 and T1, with 1.5 litres per hectare, in a low fungicide situation.
This complements similar trials from Eurofins. Two separate applications on two winter wheat plots, applied in November 2018 and March 2019 respectively, saw yield increase responses of 0.50 T/ha and 0.74 T/ha.
During the drought year of 2018, independent Eurofins trials in North Yorkshire, showed winter wheat treated at T1 and T2 returning a yield increase of more than 1.2 T/ha.
AminoA FLO is now used worldwide, and has been beneficially applied to all crops, and everything from pineapples and bananas to grassland.
